Employer: Amazon.com Services Llc Offered Position: Front-End Engineer Ii Job Location: Seattle, Washington Position Responsibilities: Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture/design/working software solutions by working with PM, UX designers, and customers. Code and test system components and participate in code and design reviews. Demonstrate ownership of end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests, and integration. Partner/collaborate across teams/roles to deliver results. Be responsible for overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance. Mentor other engineers, define the technical culture, and help grow the team. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): front end, web, or mobile software development using modern web development with HTML5, CSS3.0, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, and AngularJS); experience with computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis; experience with modern JavaScript tooling including Webpack, Gulp, and Grunt; experience with at least one modern dynamic programming language including Ruby, Python, or JavaScript; and experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working applications.
