Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for securing new clients for NAM's dispute resolution platform. Working closely with leadership, IT development, and marketing teams, this professional will target law firms and claims professionals at insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs). The BDR will forge relationships with key decision makers, understand their business challenges/protocol and introduce division's capabilities. The BDR will collaborate with the NAM team, prospect target accounts, provide demos and training and close the deal. Responsibilities: Prospect target accounts with a focus upon plaintiff and defense counsel and claims professionals at insurance companies and TPAs throughout the United States. Pursue sales qualified leads (SQLs). Provide demos to prospects and training to clients, as required. Become fully versed and understand the system and how it works in order to assist clients with the process and answer questions. Engage prospective clients and build relationships. Identify prospective client pain points and business objectives while gaining an understanding of culture and methodologies. Communicate and follow-up with precision and timeliness. Network, attend conferences and business social events to deepen and widen relationship base. Log all activity in the CRM system, prepare weekly reports and attend sales meetings. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws and ethical principles. Requirements: Experience selling technology products within the legal/litigation ecosystem; two plus years' experience preferred. Impeccable communication skillsboth written and verbal. Bright and energetic; a go-getter. Team player. Strong work ethic and passion for serving demanding clients. Curiosity that drives knowledge and meaningful engagement of client and their organization. Current driver's license and insured automobile. Bachelor's degree. Experience in the insurance industry a plus but not required. Law degree and/or paralegal experience a plus but not required. Location: This position will be based out of our Garden City office. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus/commission opportunity. Comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical & dental insurance.
