Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
- EMR Systems: Athena & Meditech
- Support Staff: Local urologists available via phone, nursing staff, urology tech, and hospitalists
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes
- Phone Consults: 5-10 per day
- Rounding: Active consults
- Patients Per Shift: Adults, very few pediatric patients
- Specialty Skills Required: General Urology, Adult, Advanced endoscopic techniques, Laparoscopic surgeries, Ureteroscopy, Radical Cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit, Radical prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Pelvic node dissection, Robotic surgery, Partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, Adrenalectomy, Renal and bladder ultrasound w/biopsy, TRUS biopsies, Fertility work-up, Incontinence procedures, Penile prosthesis, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
- Supervision of Advance Practice Providers required
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Eligible (Board Certification not required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Hospital/surgery center privileges required
- Facility Trauma Level: 4
