DIS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat disorders of the urinary tract and male/female reproductive system, perform surgical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Location: Lebanon, PA
Employment Type: Long-term Contract
Compensation: $ 400,000-$425,000
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder dysfunction, prostate issues, and male infertility.
- Conduct physical exams and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., urinalysis, bladder scans, CT scans, ultrasounds) .
- Perform surgical procedures including vasectomies, prostate surgery, bladder surgery, and minimally invasive techniques like robotic-assisted surgery .
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care and patient education.
- Collaborate with other specialists (e.g., oncologists, nephrologists) to ensure comprehensive care .
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in urology through continuing education and training
Qualifications:
Licensure
- Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Physicians with any history of restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily surrendered, or denied licenses will not be considered.
- Board Certification in Urology
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in Urology; fellowship training in a subspecialty is a plus.
- Proficiency in urological procedures and diagnostic technologies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform long surgeries.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted (DaVinci) and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Research experience or academic involvement in urology.
- Leadership experience in clinical settings.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $285,000 $424,000 annually.
