Job Description

Facility in Yakima, WA is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic team. This is a .8 FTE position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a state-of-the-art facility that serves as the sole provider of oncology and hematology care in the region. Key Details
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic with dedicated MA and RN support
  • Patient Volume: 15 patients/day
  • Admin Time: One day/week for charting and notes (may see patients on this day if needed)
  • Procedures: Occasional bone marrow biopsies; no other procedures required
  • Infusion Center: 16-chair on-site infusion center; severe infusion reactions transferred to nearby hospital ( 2 miles away)
  • Bone Marrow Transplants: None
  • EHR: Epic

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an outpatient setting
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and MAs to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Participate in patient education and support initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
  • Respond appropriately to infusion-related emergencies in coordination with hospital staff
Qualifications
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Washington State
  • MUST have experience in both Hematology and Oncology
  • Experience performing bone marrow biopsies preferred
  • Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
