Aspects of the General Urology position:
- Position information: Seeking an American Board of Urology Board eligible/Board certified General Urologist to fulfill the diverse needs of the community and our growing program at VMMC. Other urologic subspecialty training, experience, and/or interest is a plus but not required. The practice location will be at St. Anne Hospital in Burien, WA.
- Clinical excellence: VMMC Urology is looking to hire a general urologist to provide high quality compassionate patient-centered urologic care. This urologist will be employed by VMMC, connected to VMMC Urology in Downtown Seattle, and supported by leadership at both St. Anne and VMMC Seattle. This urologist will help develop a state-of-the art urology program at St. Anne that represents an extension of the clinical excellence, professionalism, and collaboration of the VMMC Section of Urology.
- Team based approach : Our urological team focuses on providing appropriate, compassionate, and state-of-the art surgical and medical care for our patients. Our staff and surgeons comprise a dedicated and collaborative team that support each other and work together to create a positive work environment.
- Flexible schedule options: Weekly schedule will include outpatient clinics, outpatient procedures, and operative cases at the St. Anne Hospital location. On-call responsibilities will include call at St. Anne Hospital.
- Learning opportunities : VMMC Urology supports opportunities for continuing medical education and professional growth. The St. Anne VMMC urologists will be supported by the VMMC Urology group, with structured mentorship in the first two years of the position. The Section of Urology organizes weekly clinical conferences for residents and fellows that foster a community of collegiality and continuous learning for faculty and trainees. Based on the candidate s skills and interests, leadership and growth opportunities are available.

BE/BC; American Board of Urology (ABU)
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
