We’re seeking an experienced Civil and Site Development Superintendent to lead and manage complex, high-profile construction projects across diverse environments. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for professionals who excel in orchestrating field operations and delivering top-tier results in challenging conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Field Operations: Provide strong on-site leadership for large-scale civil, marine, and bridge infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day field activities including project construction, site development, structural concrete and steel installation, utility bridges, and marine-based construction tasks.
- Strategic Planning: Oversee the planning and execution of critical operations, traffic phasing, demolition, excavation, and support-of-excavation (SOE) systems.
- Workforce & Equipment Management: Manage skilled professional crews, subcontractors, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and meet project timelines.
- Collaborative Execution: Work closely with project engineers, field staff, and technical experts to create efficient work plans and resolve on-site challenges.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce the highest safety standards and ensure quality control and compliance at every project phase.
- Client & Stakeholder Interface: Act as the key on-site representative for clients, regulatory bodies, inspectors, and internal teams, fostering transparency and trust.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on production rates, cost controls, material usage, and project milestones to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in heavy civil, marine, or bridge construction, with demonstrated leadership in field operations.
- Proven ability to manage both self-perform teams and subcontractors on complex, schedule-driven projects.
- Strong skills in project scheduling, equipment logistics, production tracking, and budget control.
- Experience with high-profile infrastructure projects is highly valued.
