Orthopedics - Trauma Physician

Location: Tampa, Florida

We are seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity to provide call coverage only in a Level 2 trauma center that functions like a Level 1. This position has no clinic hours.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the management of complex orthopedic trauma cases, including:

• Acetabular fractures

• Hemi-arthroplasty

• Fracture management

• External fixation

• Pinning procedures

We are looking for a surgeon to provide coverage for both of the following periods:

• August 26 - September 2

• September 23 - September 29

We will only consider candidates who are available for both coverage blocks.

This position offers a highly competitive compensation package . Reimbursement for travel, lodging, and insurance will be included and discussed with qualified candidates.

• Board certification in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery is required.

• Must be licensed in the state of Florida.
