nResponsibilities include:

Working with z/OS configuration

Configuring z/VM (zLinux)

Performing scripting and administrative tasks in Unix/Linux environments (SSH, BASH)

Using Python and developing or consuming RESTful APIs

Collaborating with network engineers on mainframe security configuration

(If applicable) Rebuilding predefined systems and subsystems on new hardware

Requirements:

Fluency with z/OS configuration

Experience with z/VM (zLinux)

Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and administration

Proficiency with Python and RESTful APIs

Familiarity with mainframe security configuration

Experience with system re-deployment is a plus

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

nThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $64.50 to $67.50 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
