nJob Summary:
nInsight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Creedmoor, NC for a large automotive parts manufacturing client. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality production standards, and contributing to the overall success of our engineering group.
nKey Responsibilities:
n· Directly support production areas by troubleshooting equipment or efficiency issues.
n· Reduce bottlenecks in the factory to improve workflow.
n· Design and develop parts using SolidWorks.
n· Manage capital purchasing of equipment to enhance production capabilities.
n· Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to enhance production efficiency.
n· Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
n· Occasionally run Kaizen events to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
n· Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
n· Provide technical support and training to production staff.

nSkills and Requirements
nMust Haves:
nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
n2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
nProficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
nStrong problem-solving skills and mechanical inclination
nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices Preferred Qualifications:
nExperience in the automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
nCertification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
nExperience with fiberglass null
