Position Overview
In this high-impact role, you will own key automation initiatives, oversee the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, and ensure our infrastructure provisioning is reliable and repeatable. You will collaborate closely with engineering and application development teams to support workload migrations and enhance operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform , Azure CDK , and other IaC tools.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of Azure cloud resources.
- Lead the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise, focusing on CI/CD pipeline automation via GitHub Actions .
- Collaborate with engineering and app teams to integrate automated infrastructure patterns into development workflows.
- Document and transfer knowledge of pipeline and automation logic to ensure team continuity.
- Identify gaps in automation, implement improvements, and take full ownership of Azure automation initiatives.
- Support workload migrations and modernization efforts across our Azure ecosystem.
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Strong experience with Terraform for Azure resource provisioning.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and/or ARM Templates .
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions for Azure automation workflows.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services , including Azure DevOps , Azure Functions , Azure Resource Manager , and Azure CLI .
- Proficiency in scripting with Python ; experience with PowerShell is a plus.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Azure Monitor , Log Analytics , and Application Insights .
Experience Requirements:
- 6-7 years in automation engineering or infrastructure-as-code roles within Azure environments.
- Proven track record of building automated cloud environments and enabling scalable infrastructure.
- Experience collaborating with software/platform engineering teams to deliver automated infrastructure.
- Background supporting cloud workload migrations and cross-team platform initiatives.
This Role Is Not:
- A general DevOps or CI/CD strategy role; this focus is on hands-on Azure automation.
- A junior or entry-level position; we require a candidate with demonstrated ownership of infrastructure and automation projects.
- A narrow support role; you will lead initiatives, implement improvements, and collaborate across engineering.

Location and Workplace Flexibility: While we have offices in various locations, including Atlanta, Boston, Morristown, Plano, St. Louis, and St. Petersburg, we offer a hybrid and remote-friendly culture.
