Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a Contract with a client in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities include migrating Ruby on Rails applications to a micro-front-end architecture and developing scalable cross-platform solutions for web and mobile.
Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Lead the migration of Ruby on Rails applications to a modern architecture using Angular, Ionic, and Capacitor for seamless web and mobile integration.
- Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Node.js, Angular, and Ionic, ensuring consistent user experiences across platforms.
- Design and implement reusable components such as Auth Guards and session management features using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.
- Integrate micro-front-end architectures across multiple products and services to support modular and maintainable development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of components and successful implementation of the new tech stack.
- Ensure performance and analytics optimization by integrating Heap Analytics and maintaining efficient data tracking without compromising scalability.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, and Node.js for building scalable cross-platform applications.
- Proven experience with micro-front-end architecture and secure authentication using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
