About the Role
The Company is actively seeking a dynamic Chief Medical Executive (CME) for its Medicaid Health Plan. As a strategic and operational leader, the CME will champion clinical excellence and drive quality and medical management initiatives within a collaborative environment. This influential role is crucial for ensuring the provision of appropriate healthcare treatments to our members, aligned with the Quintuple AIM principles. The CME will lead the development and execution of population health strategies aimed at achieving sustainable competitive advantages. Responsibilities will also include overseeing cost containment initiatives, meeting defined KPIs, and fostering the growth and success of the health plan through impactful clinical leadership.
Ideal candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience within the healthcare delivery system, including a minimum of 3 years in Medicaid and managed care. A current, unencumbered physician license and board certification in a recognized specialty are essential. We are looking for a passionate individual with a robust background in population health management, a commitment to enhancing healthcare outcomes, and an understanding of value-based contracting for quality improvement.
The CME will work closely with various stakeholders, including regulators, providers, and community organizations, demonstrating strong business acumen and leadership skills in a complex healthcare landscape.
