nMason-Grey is hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support medical device manufacturing at our long-term client site in Cornelia, GA. In this role, you’ll perform video time studies to baseline material testing processes from raw material receipt through product release. Using Lean Six Sigma and Demand Flow tools, you’ll identify and drive process improvements, optimize workflows, and recommend new testing equipment or technology where needed.
nThis long-term contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in enhancing quality systems and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates bring experience in statistical analysis (Minitab preferred), Lean Six Sigma methodologies, equipment qualification, and test method validation. nLOCATION: Client Site, Cornelia GA, Onsite, M-F 8-4:30 PM
nCOMPENSATION: The hourly rate is a maximum range of $41.50 to $43.50. Annualized (50 weeks / 40 hours per week, 2000 hours) range of $83,000 to $87,000 based on actual hours worked. OT is payable at 1.5X over 40 hours per week.
nJOB DESCRIPTION/EXPERIENCE:
nThe Continuous Improvement Engineer will perform video time studies to baseline the material testing value stream (VS). These testing VS maps will include product testing details from Raw Material Receipt to Product Release from the Georgia Campus, and as needed; also include Finished Good testing sites.
The Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer will identify improvement projects from these VS maps that will utilize LSS and Demand Flow tools and Technologies to implement continuous improvement. Projects may also identify the need for capital investment of new laboratory test equipment and technology that would need to be qualified under equipment qualification and test method validation guidelines.
nStrong focus on statistical sample size determination and justification.
nCompetencies and experience with the following are desirable:
n• Statistical and Minitab experience is highly desirable
n• Statistical Sampling Experience is highly desirable
n• Lean and or Lean Six Sigma Certification
n• Green Belt and or Black Belt Certifications
n• Certified Quality Engineer
n• Demand Flow Technology Training/ Certification
n• Equipment Qualification Experience
n• Test Method Validation Experience
n• Project Management Certification or Experience
n• Experience with Engineering Change Orders/ Change Projects
