Role: Test Architect/Test Project Manager Web Applications | Finance & Payroll Domain
Location: US (Remote)
Contract: 6 + months

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect/Test Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the testing strategy for cutting-edge web-based applications. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in .NET application testing , strong expertise in the finance or payroll domain , and excellent customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities
n

    n
  • Design and implement comprehensive test architecture and frameworks for web-based and .NET applications.
    • n
  • Define test strategy, methodologies, and best practices for functional, automation, integration, performance, and security testing.
    • n
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and clients to ensure requirements are well understood and validated.
    • n
  • Lead test automation initiatives using modern tools, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
    • n
  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers , presenting quality metrics and guiding testing strategy for enterprise deployments.
    • n
  • Mentor and guide QA teams in adopting robust testing practices.
    • n

Required Skills & Experience
n

    n
  • 12+ years of experience in software testing with at least 3+ years as a Test Architect/Test Project Manager .
    • n
  • Proven track record in web-based application testing and solid knowledge of .NET-based systems.
    • n
  • Project Management experience in managing a team of testers, QA engineers, and other project team members.
    • n
  • Strong understanding of testing in the finance or payroll domain (compliance, calculations, workflows, etc.).
    • n
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and test management tools.
    • n
  • Expertise in performance, security, and API testing techniques.
    • n
  • Ability to interact with customers, understand their requirements, and deliver tailored quality solutions.
    • n
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • n
n

Qualifications
n

    n
  • Experience in cloud-based testing environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
    • n
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • n
  • Certifications such as ISTQB Test Architect or similar are a plus.
    • n
  • PMP /Scrum Certification would be nice to have.
    • n
