Job Overview
The Front End Team Leader oversees the front line operations in the absence of the Front End Manager. You will coach, teach, and develop all frontline team members to ensure exceptional service. The leader is responsible for driving and monitoring the membership experience and goals while ensuring all member orders are processed efficiently. You will delegate tasks, monitor staffing, and ensure compliance with operational standards while providing top-tier customer service to our members.
Leadership Responsibilities:

Member Engagement:

- Commit to maintaining a clean, fast, friendly, and fully stocked environment for members.
Club Standards:
- Lead teams to consistently deliver GOLD club standards every day, including ensuring all items are stocked and promotional plans are executed effectively.
- Maintain accurate and visible signage while ensuring the club remains clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise frontline team members, including cashiers and the membership desk, in the absence of the Front End Manager.
- Provide exemplary member service while coaching team members to excel in this area.
- Drive membership metrics through effective engagement programs focused on acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Train, develop, and motivate frontline team members while conducting performance evaluations.
- Perform essential end responsibilities, including closing POS transactions and managing member escalated service issues.
- Act with urgency to provide timely assistance to members at all times.
- Act as a backup for cashiers and Membership Sales Ambassadors as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe service area for members.
- Stay informed about merchandise promotions and product information to enhance member engagement.
- Maintain familiarity with system applications and task management tools to oversee club operations effectively.
- Regular and punctual attendance is essential for this role.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in a leadership role.
- Knowledge and experience in membership or sales are preferred.
- Prior cashier experience is advantageous.
- Basic math skills are required.
Work Environment:
- Frequent movement throughout the club, often on hard surfaces. May require bending, handling, and reaching.
- Requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; heavier items may require assistance.
- Primarily located indoors with occasional exposure to temperature variations and noise; minimal exposure to cleaning agents.
In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, this role has an estimated starting compensation of $19.00. Actual salaries will vary based on factors like location, education, experience, and qualifications.
