Electrician Job Description

n

Responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint.

n

An electrician degree from a technical college and experience in the field working on simple and complex electrical systems is to perform in this role.  Manufacturing skill knowledge.

n

Electrician Responsibilities:

n

· Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

n

· Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.

n

· Performing general electrical maintenance.

n

· Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

n

· Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

n

· Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.

n

· Following Electrical Code state and local building regulations.

n

· Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

n

· Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.

n

Electrician Requirements:

n

*Journeyman Certification

n

*Completion of electrician apprenticeship.

n

*Experience working as an electrician.

n

*High school diploma.

n

*Valid driver's license.

n

*Electrician degree from a technical college.

n

*Deep electrical system, power , blueprints maintenance, and repair knowledge.

n

*Experience in the renewable energy field.

Salary Range: $60k to $82k
