Serve Electric is looking for experienced certified Industrial Electrical Apprentices that are registered with the state of Michigan. The type of candidate we are looking for is:
- Highly technical and mechanical
- Versatile in industrial environments
- Able to multi-task
- Capable of receiving instruction and implementing training
At Serve Electric, we offer four years of Electrical Apprenticeship Training through Serve Academy (), at no cost to the apprentice. Through this training apprentices will gain knowledge and skills surrounding:
- NEC Code
- Running jobs big or small
- Sizing requirements for feeders
- Tooling requirements for jobs
- PPE and Safety
- Lighting, transformers, motor control, and switchboards
- Candidates will gain skills in:
- Wiring
- Threading, Bending and Running EMT and Rigid conduit size 1/2"-4"Computer applications relevant to the job (Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP)
- Using mathematics to perform electrical calculations
- Interpreting information from rough sketches, plans, drawings, and specifications
Qualifications:
- Michigan Registered Apprentice
- Preferably 2 years experience in Industrial electrical
