With $10M+ in annual revenue and ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking a Director of Marketing to help take us to the next level.
About the Role:
As our first-ever Director of Marketing, you will build and lead a lean, high-performance marketing team responsible for generating qualified leads, driving brand growth, and supporting revenue targets. You will manage internal staff, contractors, and agency partners - while also rolling up your sleeves to execute high-impact marketing campaigns.
You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with sales leadership and the executive team to align marketing with business objectives. This is both a strategic and hands-on role - ideal for a proven player-coach who thrives in entrepreneurial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own the company-wide marketing strategy aligned to revenue goals.
- Build, lead, and develop a small team of marketing staff, contractors, and agencies.
- Establish a modern marketing tech stack to drive efficiency and performance.
- Drive marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue growth.
- Partner with Sales to optimize lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Continuously improve funnel performance through data-driven experimentation.
- Oversee omnichannel marketing execution:
- Digital: SEO/SEM, paid media, social, email, website
- Traditional: direct mail, OTT, mass media
- Content: video, blog, landing pages
- Manage creative development and brand consistency across all channels.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with agencies and external partners.
- Define KPIs and marketing performance dashboards.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign and channel performance.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on marketing impact.
- Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous learning within the marketing team.
- Hire and mentor marketing talent as the company scales.
- A scalable marketing engine that consistently generates qualified leads and supports sales conversion.
- Strong brand presence in target markets.
- Tight alignment between marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
- Measurable, data-driven marketing performance that supports revenue growth goals.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue growth.
- Experience managing a small internal team plus contractors/agencies.
- Strong understanding of modern marketing best practices across digital and traditional channels.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with a bias for action and results.
- Ability to operate strategically while being hands-on when needed (player-coach mindset).
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in real estate, professional services, or high-growth entrepreneurial environments is a plus.
Compensation:$95,000 - $125,000 per year (DOE)
- Performance bonus potential based on pipeline/revenue impact
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
