Become a new member of our team and contribute to making our clients' experience memorable and unique for their special day!Kitchen Utilities/Dishwashers work at both the Hub Kitchen and assigned Venue Kitchens as Dishwashers during events, assists in the preparation of food, and helps upkeep the kitchen.
What You'll Do:
- Works as a Dishwasher during events and in the Regional Kitchen.
- Collect used kitchenware, china, and glassware and load and unload the dishwasher. Hand wash items as necessary.
- Store cleaned kitchenware, china, and glassware appropriately.
- Ensure there are enough cleaned dishes at all times especially during peak service time.
- Responsible for assisting in the preparation of food at the Regional Kitchen.
- Remove garbage regularly.
- Sanitize the kitchen area including the floors.
- Takes direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen from the Executive and Sous Chef.
- Perform and complete all assigned kitchen tasks without constant supervision.
- Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Reports all equipment in the kitchen that needs maintenance
- Maintains required food handling and sanitation certifications.
- Follows all applicable safety procedures specified for kitchen and food servers.
- Maintains proper grooming and hygiene standards.
- Responsible for adhering to the outlined schedule and clocking in and out correctly.
- Alerts Executive Chef to any food waste.
- Ensure the completion of any task as assigned by the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.
- Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times.
- Deliver cakes to assign venue
- Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
- Required Experience: 1-2 years of successful culinary experience
- Certifications: Serve Safe Food Handlers
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours
- Other: Submit to a background and drug test, have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Part-Time: Weekends and Evenings when events take place
- Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, late nights
- Hourly: $18-$ 20per hour, based on experience
