Trustar Bank is currently seeking an experienced Loan Administration professional that will primarily be responsible for overseeing the loan closing process. This position ensures that all loans are closed in accordance with the Bank's Lending Policy, loan documentation is accurately prepared and executed and all collateral is perfected. Additionally, this position will perform core maintenance, assist with audits and cross train on the post close and quality control processes. The Loan Administrator follows all established policies and procedures of the Bank.

Summary of Job Duties:

n

Review Loan packages received for processing by reading through the Loan Presentation Summary and other information provided to ensure coherence, compliance with bank policy and regulations and alert Loan Officer and Manager of any issues discovered in the initial file review to determine resolution.

n

Experience and a high level of comfort with Corresponding with attorneys, title companies to order title reports, coordinate closing and ensure perfection of collateral and insurance agencies to obtain evidence of insurance as required by collateral type.

n

Ability to take action by ordering Flood Certificates, OFAC Reports, Tax Service Contracts, Order and review searches and other information gathered in the due diligence process.

n

Review draft HUD / disbursement authorizations prior to closing.

n

Prepare loan documents using loan documentation software or coordinate the production of loan documents by third party attorney providers.

n

Conduct loan closings as authorized.

n

Thorough understanding of entity documents.

n

Assists with regulatory and internal management reporting.

n

Assists with documentation of loan policies and procedures.

n

Assists with annual audits by Federal and internal auditors.

n

Work up participating banks.

n

Perform core system maintenance, loan advances and address changes.

n

Filing and scanning as needed.

n

Clear and update loan related exceptions to include insurance financials, ucc’s and other recorded documents.

n

Performs other duties as assigned including special projects.

Requirements Include:

n

Minimum five to seven years' experience in loan administration both real estate loan administration and post-close loan administration. (Banking)

n

Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.

n

Previous knowledge of Loan Documentation

n

Prior experience and knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake a plus

n

Prior experience and knowledge of LaserPro

n

Must have exceptional Customer Service skills

n

Must have exceptional problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

n

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, both autonomously and in a group.

n

Ability to take ownership of assignments and projects and follow through until tasks are completed.

n

Computer literacy in Word, Excel and Outlook

n

Excellent written and oral communication skills
