Line Cook

Nine Bar and Moon Palace Express is seeking part time and full time line cooks to join our team! We are a family-owned cocktail bar and traditional Chinese takeout restaurant located in Chinatown. The two businesses share a kitchen and potential employees will be required to learn and know both menus. Nine Bar has a small menu of Asian-inspired bar snacks whereas Moon Palace Express specializes in Chinese-American classics and regional Chinese specialities. 

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of line cook experience - Wok experience is required
• Knowledge of Chinese and Asian food is a plus
• Opening/Closing kitchen duties 
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
• Illinois Food Handlers certificate
