ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Load finished cabinets sequentially into hauling trailersMaintain a safe working environment at all times, including housekeeping and compliance to safety rules.Understand Loading / Sequencing / Scanning ProcessWilling to be cross-trained and accept additional task when need arises to meet customer demands.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.Education, Experience and Skills:•a high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) is preferred.•minimum of 1 to 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.•good written and oral communication skills.Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents such as manufacturing schedules. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with co-workers and customers/clients in an effort to respond to common inquires or complaints.Mathematical Skills:Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to such tasks as inventory control, production tracking, and verification.Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an assorted number of tasks or instructions.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to speak and communicate with other employees, be able to hear well enough to recognize warning signals, forklifts, and announcements. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.WORKING CONDITIONS:Indoor manufacturing environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high and hearing protection may be required. Safety glasses are required and work gloves are required. Occasional overtime and weekend work required.
