Private Equity Portfolio Analysis team is seeking a self-motivated, experienced professional with a forward-thinking and strategic mindset. This individual will help drive some of the team’s core functions including portfolio valuations, the firm’s data and analytics program (quantitative and qualitative analysis at the fund and portfolio company level) and the preparation of comprehensive portfolio reporting. Job Description:

Own coverage of an investing sector, developing domain level expertise on the group’s portfolio companies, their operations and valuations. Cultivate a deeper relationship with investing colleagues. Assist with a wide variety of investment and fund performance reporting (e.g., forecasting models, scenario analyses, distribution of relative risk/reward outcomes for pipeline deal decisions, value creation, comps benchmarking). Assist in deal monitoring reporting (e.g., KPI trend analysis, comparison of actual performance to forecast and underwriting scenarios, valuation and sector performance over time, deal impact relative to fund performance). Liaise with IT department and external consultants in the design and implementation of new procedures and systems to support tech enablement of reporting and analysis across the Firm. Liaise and collaborate with internal functional teams such as Fund Accounting & Operations, Investor Relations, and Value Creation for quarterly and ad hoc presentations for senior management and LPs. Extensive strategic ad hoc project work. Requirements / Qualifications:

3-7 years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience BS/BA in business, economics, finance or mathematics related discipline preferred (CPA or MBA a plus) Knowledge of alternative investing, particularly private equity Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, fund returns / IRRs, valuation metrics, economic and operational business and performance drivers Advanced analytical and visual representation skills High proficiency in Microsoft’s suite of office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Proven ability to build relationships at all levels Strong organizational, project execution, and program management experience Exceptional integrity and professionalism
