The Business Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. This role will support the NAM and Global Debt Capital Markets business within Banking. Tasks include contribution competitor analysis, pipeline tracking, revenue forecasting, coordinating internal audits and various other ad hoc projects as requested.The Business Execution team acts as a partner to senior DCM leadership. This role involves significant coordination and collaboration with diverse functions across Citi's global operations, including but not limited to Risk, Finance, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Audit, and Human Resources. A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a complex, cross-functional environment, engaging with colleagues across various geographical locations. Paramount to this role are exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside a proven aptitude for fostering strong partnerships with colleagues at all levels and throughout different parts of the organization.Responsibilities:Create presentations for senior management for business reviews and other ad-hoc eventsComplete competitor benchmarking analysis through volume and fee-based market shareAssist with internal audit and external regulatory reviewsSupport and maintain various Banking compliance and control initiativesManage deal and revenue pipelinesProduce revenue estimates in conjunction with relevant business headsAssist in the annual budgeting process as well as intra-year forecastingProvide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparationReview data for accuracy and create required reporting to manage the dataAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:3-5 years of relevant experienceAdvanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulasStrong PowerPoint experience creating decksExperience with databases and information managementConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsThoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusionsAbility to quickly flex and re-adjust under high pressure and challenging situationsExcellent organizational skills: ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyEnergetic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure - enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced and demanding work environmentEducation:Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
