Senior Supply Chain Specialist

What You'll Do:Relate Search has partnered with a global energy company to identify a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement operations and sourcing efforts across the business. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient processing of purchase orders, optimizing procurement strategies, and supporting cross-functional teams to drive operational goals. You'll play a key role in analyzing spend data, managing supplier relationships, and developing tools to monitor procurement performance and compliance.Responsibilities:•Prepare and process purchase orders and track orders to ensure timely delivery and execution.•Extract and analyze spend data using SAP, identifying cost reduction opportunities and enhancing procurement efficiency.•Build and maintain procurement dashboards and monitor KPIs for supply chain performance.•Manage the RFX process, evaluate supplier proposals, and conduct bid evaluations in accordance with procedures.•Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers while ensuring adherence to contract commitments and documentation standards.Qualifications:•Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience; degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.•Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a procurement role within a corporate or large-scale project environment.•Proficiency with SAP S/4 HANA and Ariba required; Power BI experience preferred.•Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with proven ability to manage supplier relationships and optimize cost.•Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities independently.Perks & Benefits:•Standard business hours with flexibility based on scheduling activities.•Some travel expected based on business needs.•Collaborative, office-based work environment in Houston, TX.About Relate SearchRelate Search is a Woman, Minority, and LGBTQIA+ owned executive and professional search firm dedicated to connecting top talent with meaningful opportunity.
