The Project Manager acts as the primary contact for builders and trade partners, managing scheduling for Shade Installers, Field Technicians, and Programmers, and ensuring accurate material inspections and staging. The position also requires coordinating with the Technology Design team and Project Designer for on-site design requirements, site visits, and project purchase order approvals.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison for builders and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of Shade Installers, Field Technicians, and Field Programmers, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct shade measurements as required to ensure accurate specifications.
Inspect project materials to verify their correctness and ensure they are free from damage (dependent on territory).
Stage materials on-site in preparation for installation (dependent on territory).
Collaborate with the Technology Design team to address on-site design requirements.
Partner with the Project Designer to conduct site visits and assessments.
Work alongside the Project Designer to review and approve project purchase orders, ensuring alignment with project needs.
Requirements:
Maintain a professional and client-facing demeanor at all times.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively on job sites as well as in completed residential environments.
Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable with climbing ladders and performing tasks at elevated heights.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills.
Preferred technical experience with motorized shading systems, lighting controls, or light fixtures.
Proficient in basic troubleshooting and resolving issues on-site.
Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new applications and software.
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat (preferred).
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required.
Fluent in English, with proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
