We are looking for an enthusiastic system administrator in a fast-paced, complex business environment. They will be responsible for supporting product owners in a processing center. The administrator will be responsible for a variety of support systems with virtual or physical machines and software, supporting change requests and projects, and finding areas primed for an automation opportunity
location: West Valley City, Utah

salary: $50 - 60 per hour
work hours: 9am to 6pm
education: No Degree Required
responsibilities:
Job Duties -
Set up and manage batch jobs using AutoSys, particularly those invoking shell scripts on Linux servers. Develop and maintain advanced shell scripts including conditional logic and integration with system software, functions, and processes. Install, configure, and maintain vendor software on both Linux and Windows servers. Support change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum system integrity. Work closely with product owners and project teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. Identify and propose automation opportunities to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing issues and tuning systems for optimal performance.

Job Requirements -
5+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support roles. Proven experience in system administration in a mixed Linux/Windows environment. Hands-on knowledge of AutoSys, especially scheduling and monitoring batch jobs. Proficiency in shell scripting. Experience installing and configuring third-party vendor software on both Linux and Windows platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills & Experience -
Java development or troubleshooting experience. Experience in infrastructure automation tools Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Knowledge and experience in configuring Precisely Enrichment Engine and Visual Engineer
