The Systems Administrator (Scheduler) plays a vital role in maintaining the stability and performance of an organization's IT infrastructure. The purpose of this position is to update, maintain, and monitor automated processes in CA Workload Automation. Employees in this position will be expected to analyze workflows and metrics and use scripting technologies to ensure optimal execution of workflows. Employee must be able to work independently and without supervision. Employee will participate in an on-call rotation and will be expected to respond to and correct failed workflows quickly when on call. Maintain and support customer schedules and calendars within Workload Automation Create and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Windows, Linux Shell, & SQL Partner with Application Developers and Systems Administrators to build automated job flows Perform batch scheduling changes as required following proper change control & CAB procedures Perform On-Call rotations within department 24x7x365 supportfor business-critical batch schedules Using technical knowledge, triage tickets and assign to appropriate engineering, or application support personnel if unable to solve problem in a timely manner Perform day to day batch monitoring and resolve issues as necessary Prioritize problems and enhancements to satisfy end user requirements within service level agreements Administration of Vista Reports, LAN Reports & other applications Participate in Disaster Recovery Exercises Collaborate with senior team members to develop and improve operating procedures and best practices Monitor system performance and security, reporting any anomalies or potential threats to senior team members.

Roles & Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

Thorough knowledge of automated scheduling tools Knowledge of script writing (JavaScript, PowerShell, SQL, Linux, Windows) Basic understanding of server and network infrastructure, including common operating systems and network protocols Familiarity with monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues Experience with documentation and change management processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records Knowledge of basic scripting and automation tools to streamline routine tasks

Required Education Or Experience

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field, along with one or more years of relevant experience OR 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating hands-on experience with server and network administration
