A Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the computer systems, networks, and infrastructure of the organization. They ensure the smooth operation of the IT environment, provide level 3, and higher, support to end users, and implement security measures to protect systems and data. System Administration and Maintenance: Regularly monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of systems and infrastructure. Identifying and resolving issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing technical support to end users. Applying patches, updates, and security fixes to systems and ensuring they are up to date. System Configuration and Deployment: Installing, configuring, and deploying hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, operating systems, and applications. Setting up network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Configuring and managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls System Planning and Strategy: Participating in the strategic planning of IT systems, infrastructure, and technology roadmap. Evaluating new technologies, tools, and solutions for potential implementation. Providing recommendations on system upgrades, enhancements, and capacity planning. Project Management: As a Senior Systems Administrator, you may be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects within Outcomes. This can include planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements. Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals. Generating reports on system performance, utilization, and incidents for management and stakeholders. Documenting changes and updates to systems, networks, and configurations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
System Administration and Maintenance: Regularly monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of systems and infrastructure. Identifying and resolving issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing technical support to end users. Applying patches, updates, and security fixes to systems and ensuring they are up to date. Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of O365, Azure, AWS, GCS and OCI Knowledge with TCP/IP protocols and principles Ability to prioritize tasks and projects appropriately Analytical, conceptual and progressive thinker; organized planner, independent problem-solving Familiarity with Cloud based telephone system concepts and administration Active Directory and DNS administration, Windows Server Operating Systems, Linux Server OS Working knowledge of VMware ESX Virtualization platform Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning Knowledge of attack vectors (malware, web application, social engineering, etc.) Investigating compromised systems, malware, rootkits, packet captures, and security incidents Experience with patch management, Antivirus and Malware management Excellent written and verbal skills Microsoft/Network certifications, although not necessary, are a plus Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 15%
Education & Experience Requirements
Minimum years of work experience: 4 years in Information Technology sector experience or equivalent Minimum of 3 years Administration experience with Azure, AWS, GCS, OCI, etc. Minimum of 3 years Administration experience with SAN and shared storage platforms Minimum of 3 years Administration experience with VMware Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, Computer Science and/or other combination of education, training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required tasks
