Hefner Comprehensive Treatment Center in Oklahoma City, OK, part of Acadia Healthcare, provides compassionate counseling for patients recovering from Opioid Use Disorder. We are seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team. Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with compassion and professionalism. Develop and oversee personalized recovery plans. Document all patient care and treatment activities accurately and timely. Perform initial and follow-up assessments. Coordinate referrals and aftercare planning. Provide crisis intervention and case management. Act as a liaison between patients and referral sources. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services from an accredited institution. Experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings. Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Experience with evidence-based practices like CBT, MI, relapse prevention. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with regulations such as HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Licenses/Certifications
CADC, LADC, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW (or candidates pursuing these). Additional Details
