What You'll Do
As a project engineer, you will have the chance to collaborate with other professionals within the water business unit and across other business units, depending on the projects assigned. The water business unit handles a diverse range of projects for private, public, and municipal clients, offering you the opportunity to expand your technical expertise across various project types. The Northeast Ohio water group has recently completed a variety of projects, including the following:
Water Treatment & Distribution Wastewater Treatment & Collection Stormwater Collection & Detention Water Modeling Hydraulic Modeling (Sanitary & Stormwater) Sidewalk and Street Improvements Pavement Assessment Municipal Building Generator Replacements Municipal Plan Review Funding Procurement
Skills
We will count on you to support the project team while growing your career and technical skills. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Planning Studies and Reports Design Calculations Prepare Construction Cost Estimates Prepare Construction Drawings in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit Prepare Technical Specifications Review Regulatory Requirements and Permitting Utility Coordination Field Work (as needed)

Motivated, wanting to learn and grow in profession. A strong sense of professional accountability. Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment. Have exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field. Successful Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) required Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred (or plans to take the exam within 12 months of hire)
Technical Qualifications
Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D (Post-Degree Experience Preferred) Relevant experience water/wastewater design required. Experience using Revit is preferred. Experience with processing modeling software is preferred.
