Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer (Mid-Level)

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate in one of our Denver, Colorado offices to provide instrumentation and controls engineering and design for water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities:

Work includes both in-plant and remote telemetry (SCADA) projects with the potential for HMI/PLC programming. Develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs); prepare I&C system specifications; prepare cost estimates for projects; and review and approve documentation developed by contractors. Inspect, test, and approve I&C work provided by contractors at water and wastewater facilities. Develop SCADA Master Planning documents. Qualifications/Skills:

Knowledge of water/wastewater or industrial process instrumentation and equipment. Control system software configuration/programming capability preferred. Electrical design experience is a plus. Good verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines and client interface. 5-15 years of I&C design experience preferred; more or less will be considered. Education Requirements:

BS/BE Engineering. PE License, or ability to obtain within one year of employment, is desired.
