Location This position is considered office-first. An office-first employee can flex between in-office work and working from home based on personal or professional need, at the discretion of their supervisor. An office-first employee maintains an office presence at least three days per week at their designated Scooter’s Coffee office location. Scooter’s Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role. Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail System Analyst to join our team. This role will play a crucial role in the ongoing support, maintenance, configuration, and continuous improvement of the retail systems across our corporate and franchise locations. This individual will serve as a vital liaison between cross-functional teams—including IT, Operations, Marketing, and Finance—as well as franchise operators and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of restaurant operations, ensuring that POS platforms are reliable, compliant with industry standard, secure, and optimized to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert for PAR POS, PAR Ordering, Adyen, Fiserv, HME, New Store Opening, Store Transfers, and Network & Security Compliance Support and maintain the Meraki network infrastructure across all store locations, ensuring connectivity, centralized management, and adherence to corporate configuration standards Collaborate with internal and external teams to enforce and maintain PCI DSS compliance, including network segmentation, device security, and data handling practices Monitor and audit store networks and retail systems for compliance with IT and security policies, documenting and addressing any deviations Maintain documentation related to Meraki configurations, security standards, and compliance procedures for operational consistency and audit readiness Assist in preparing for and responding to PCI audits, including data collection, evidence submission, and remediation efforts Work with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure all systems and configurations meet compliance requirements and are updated according to policy Assist in the configuration and deployment of POS menus, promotions, and pricing Coordinate POS software updates, patching, and version control with franchisees and vendors Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related issues impacting store operations, working closely with the support desk and field support teams Analyze transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for process improvement Support new store openings, relocations, or remodels with POS setup and installation Document and maintain system configurations, best practices, and user guides Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to implement national campaigns, market tests, and limited-time offers (LTOs) into the POS Assist in evaluating and testing new POS features, integrations, or hardware for potential rollout Coordinate with third-party vendors for issue resolution, software integration, and service agreements. Monitor POS system performance, identify anomalies, and proactively address potential issues before they impact store operations. Provide insights to stakeholders on system usage, transaction accuracy, and potential areas for automation or enhancement. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5 years of experience managing POS systems, preferably in a QSR, retail, or hospitality environment Familiarity with common QSR POS systems (e.g., Brink, Aloha, Revel, Toast) Experience with POS menu management, data analytics, and system configuration Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset, especially when working with franchisees Understanding of PCI compliance and payment security standards Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Disclaimer The functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do not constitute an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities performed on the job.
