Target total compensation ranges from $300,000 to $325,000, comprising a fixed salary of $200,000 to $225,000, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Equity is granted in good faith, subject to company policies, approval, and eligibility. As a Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and operate our control plane and data services supporting containerized workloads—including EKS clusters, core addons, registries, batch processing gateways, and inter-region networking. Your role ensures platform resilience, seamless streaming, and developer tooling support for high-velocity shipping. Responsibilities include: Design, deploy, and manage EKS clusters and ECR registries supporting Linux and macOS agents Manage EKS core and observability addons—CSI/CNI/CoreDNS, Cert-Manager, Gatekeeper, Ingress, Karpenter, KEDA, Argo Rollouts, External Secrets, Velero, YuniKorn scheduler, image swapper Operate Spark Gateway API and Spark Operator for batch workloads, supporting RBAC, queues, and history servers Develop and maintain workflow automation for data and ML pipelines Architect and maintain network infrastructure—VPCs, peering, gateways, and Istio service mesh—for secure, high-performance connectivity across regions Ideal candidate profile: 5+ years in platform, SRE, or DevOps roles, with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure expertise Deep knowledge of AWS EKS, ECR, Helm, Argo, and Kubernetes addons Hands-on experience with Spark on Kubernetes and workflow schedulers like Flyte or Airflow Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Terraform) and Linux administration proficiency Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to evangelize best practices Understanding of network topology including VPCs, peering, and Istio About Rokt’stars: Our community of curious explorers aims to unlock real-time relevance in ecommerce and beyond.
