Director of Finance & Strategy
to join our growing Finance team and lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis and decision-making across our global business. This person will be a high-impact role with executive visibility, directly shaping financial insights and driving growth of the Audiomack platform across both creator and listener sides. In this role you’ll partner closely with senior leaders across the organization and will report directly to the VP, Head of Finance and Strategy. This role requires a highly analytical, organized, and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is eager to make an impact. Primary Responsibilities Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis to ensure financial health and operational alignment. Deliver insights on company performance and business priorities for senior leadership and the Board. Lead corporate FP&A processes including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly financial reporting. Drive financial strategy to support international market expansion, particularly in key regions like Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Build financial models and scenario planning tools to support strategic initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders including international teams (e.g. Africa) to align on performance, forecasts, and investments. Partner with the Product, Marketing, and Content teams to analyze user acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across global user segments. Evaluate new business models and go-to-market strategies for revenue optimization in both developed and mobile-first markets. Lead financial and strategic modeling for monetization initiatives, including advertising, subscriptions, in-app purchases, and artist tools. Conduct market research and benchmarking to support strategic investment in regional teams and product localization efforts. Develop and manage KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to track operational and financial performance. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial processes. Collaborate on high-impact projects with the Head of Finance & Strategy, CEO, and broader Audiomack leadership team. Support operational finance functions such as cost analysis, departmental management metrics, and reporting efficiency. Present complex financial data clearly and concisely to executive audiences and Board of Directors. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, corporate strategy, management consulting, or data analytics. Proven track record of owning financial planning processes and supporting senior executives with actionable insights Excellent financial modeling and forecasting skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL. Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships at all levels. Proven experience in international growth planning or expansion into emerging markets. Extreme attention to detail, strong problem solving skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, is a plus. Working knowledge of the music, media or entertainment industry preferred Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Remote/hybrid flexibility Paid parental leave Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) The salary range for this role is $130,000-155,00, plus bonus opportunity. Actual compensation packages
within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not
limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
