Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr About the Company : Public company based in Seattle is seeking an IT SOX Auditor to join their organization. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the company's audit functions while contributing to its continued success. Position Summary: The IT Auditor will be responsible for assist with reviewing IT SOX controls across the company. This individual will play a key role in evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls, identifying process improvement opportunities, and supporting the companys compliance efforts with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, business-savvy, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Review general IT controls (GITCs), application controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, and infrastructure reviews. Collaborate with financial auditors and other business stakeholders to support integrated audit activities. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with SOX 404. Perform walkthroughs and assessments. Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to both IT and business leadership. Stay current with industry trends, SOX, and best practices with SOX controls. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. 2+ years of experience in IT auditing, preferably with a national public accounting firm. Strong knowledge of SOX and other frameworks. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA a plus. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), cloud environments, and data analytics tools is a plus. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. Our client offers a base salary range of $110,000 to $115,000 depending on experience Medical, dental, vision benefits and 401K + Match PTO and holiday pay First 90 days in office and hybrid schedule thereafter.
