StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features that transform the way millions of users explore, interact with, and participate in live events worldwide. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of developing the team's commercial and product strategy. You will be expected to focus on user needs and exercise sound commercial judgment. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) - New York, NY or Aliso Viejo, CA About the Team: Seller Success' mission is to simplify the lives of large-ticket sellers, ensuring they can easily onboard and manage their ticket inventory throughout the event. The larger Supply organization aims to help sellers reduce management costs and maximize sales revenue through process automation and fast, simple experiences for their ticket lifecycle. The team mainly focuses on front-end development but maintains ownership at multiple levels of our technology stack. What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across frontend and backend platforms, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our codebase. Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise. Mentor other team members, fostering a culture of results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity. What You've Done: 5-6+ years of professional experience in software development. 2+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant ecosystems. Extensive experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using languages like Java or C#. Experience with Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, and Privacy. Proven ability to design solutions to complex problems with significant business impact. Strong understanding of system interactions within broader production environments. Ability to learn new coding platforms, frameworks, and tools. Experience owning projects from conception to production. Mentoring experience with junior engineers. Actual compensation varies based on qualifications, skills, and experience. This includes base salary, equity, benefits, and other perks.
