We are seeking a
Deputy Project Leader
to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
business unit. As part of SES, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities Run day-to-day operations of a project or a project segment. Identify change orders and ensure effective resolution. Price, track, and manage change orders. Plan and monitor cash flow against expenses. Maintain as-builts and document project issues and conditions. Plan and execute project completion and punch list. Develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work. Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. Research and compile submittals, price change orders, and prepare estimates for partially designed projects. Consult with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues. Communicate with external stakeholders, representing the company to customers, the public, government, and contractors. Understand and adhere to timelines for decision-making, RFIs, and documentation of verbal agreements. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type:
No clearance needed. Education: BS in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering or related field) with 5+ years of experience. Experience: Managing and building technical teams and programs. Programming and configuring security systems. Managing financial performance across programs. Developing security systems governance models—standards, playbooks, workflows. Expanding service lines and identifying new business opportunities. Delivering and reporting KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs. Experience with Genetec, CCure, and Avigilon security systems.
