The opportunity: The Manager, Global Operations is an operational leadership role and a subject matter expert, responsible for end-to-end management and execution of shipments within its region. This role requires a proven track record of delivering superior service, fostering strong partnerships, managing high-performing teams, and building a culture of growth and development. The manager will establish scalable, standardized processes in collaboration with operational excellence and product teams, oversee compliance and risk mitigation, and work closely with global offices to meet KPIs and improve quality and cost metrics. Daily, weekly, and monthly resource planning, capacity management, and capacity gap resolution are key responsibilities, ensuring seamless transaction execution with global counterparts. You will: Manage and develop a team of contributors and supervisors, establishing growth paths and challenging opportunities Ensure compliance with safety, security, and supply chain regulations Utilize data and insights for problem solving and continuous improvement Plan labor and capacity, working with partners to address immediate needs Identify and reduce process defects affecting quality, cost, and service Lead weekly planning and communication meetings Maintain financial controls to prevent revenue and cost leakage You should have: A business degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience Proven results in cost, quality, or service improvements Fluency in English (spoken and written) 5+ years in cross-border supply chains, logistics, or freight forwarding 2+ years in customer-facing roles Qualification in lean principles, six sigma, or similar Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL Language skills relevant to your region A 'compliance first' mindset to satisfy regulators in a heavily regulated industry The displayed salary range reflects the minimum and maximum for new hires in the respective region, determined by role, level, and location. Actual pay depends on work location, skills, experience, and education. The US base salary range for this position (excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits) is $91,200 - $114,000 USD.
