$170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Overview: A leading financial firm is seeking an Assistant Vice President, HR Business Partner to join its Human Resources team. This role involves driving performance, talent management, and employee engagement strategies across the organization. The position offers exposure to a wide range of HR functions while collaborating with business leaders and cross-functional teams on key initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead performance management, promotion, and talent development processes, ensuring consistent feedback and identifying high performers and development needs. Meet with managers to discuss employee performance and development opportunities. Report on employee performance trends and updates to leadership. Manage turnover, retention, and related documentation with HR and Legal. Conduct and analyze new hire and 30-/60-day feedback check-ins; deliver 360 reviews and provide actionable insights. Support employee resource group (ERG) programs and related event planning. Coordinate mid-year and year-end performance processes across teams. Assist with special HR projects including presentation development, cross-departmental collaboration, and data reporting. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 5–7 years of experience in an HRBP role, preferably within financial services. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Robust Performance Management experience Employee Relations experience Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude. Passion for continuous improvement and commitment to maintaining a high-performance culture. Competencies for Success: Leadership:
