RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together!
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist, you will operate your assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will provide patient-centered MRI services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Each patient seeks answers; you will guide them through the process by explaining procedures and addressing their questions and concerns.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient MRI Imaging (90%) Screens patients before exams for precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure. Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures, including positioning and explaining the process. Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, supporting patients throughout. Adjusts MRI scan parameters as needed. Follows physicians' orders and safety regulations, maintains accurate patient records within RIS. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and equipment. Ensures compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards. MRI Department Support (5%) Maintains imaging protocol manuals and software updates. Monitors and requests medical supplies. Assists in training new staff, providing resources and technical support. Other Tasks (5%) Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum:
ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing. Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography program. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required. Current CPR certification. Experience performing MRI procedures independently. Certification in imaging specialty. Preferred:
