Role Summary
As an
Institutional Relationship Manager,
you will be the primary internal resource supporting financial advisors and their clients in understanding and implementing ZEGA’s strategies, especially options-based solutions for concentrated stock positions. You will provide responsive service, education, and trading-related support across ZEGA’s full suite of strategies. This role requires a strong knowledge of options strategies and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, approachable manner. Key Responsibilities Serve as the main internal point of contact for advisor inquiries, client servicing, and trade-related support Answer questions related to account activity, particularly involving options strategies such as covered calls, puts, and spreads Help advisors and clients understand how options strategies impact performance, cash flows, and tax treatment Demonstrate understanding of key options concepts including delta, theta, extrinsic value, dividends, and rolling positions Track option expirations, premiums, and assignments; proactively explain these to advisors and clients before and after trades Assist in preparing options-related reporting, including realized gains/losses and cash flow details Build strong trust-based connections with advisors Support ZEGA’s internal systems and processes Take incoming calls from ZEGA’s institutional clients and external sales group Maintain a deep understanding of ZEGA’s entire product lineup Identify and recommend opportunities for additional investment solutions Clearly explain hedging and buffer strategies to advisors Position income portfolios effectively and differentiate total return vs. income generation objectives Articulate ZEGA’s tactical trading approach Explain performance results and drivers confidently and accurately Desired Skills and Qualifications Strong understanding of options strategies and terminology (covered calls, puts, spreads, delta, theta, extrinsic value, rolling, etc.) Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex investment concepts Experience supporting financial advisors or institutional clients Analytical mindset with attention to detail in tracking and documenting advisor accounts Collaborative, client-first attitude with exceptional service orientation Proficiency with CRM systems and reporting tools Degree in finance, economics, business, or related field preferred Prior experience in asset management, brokerage, or RIA service desk roles is highly desirable Series 65 License Why ZEGA Investments?
