As a TPM with Amazon, you will participate in designing appropriate technical solutions for business functions being automated using scalable technologies available in Amazon. You should be able to explore existing systems for reuse and guide the team in designing new systems with appropriate technology, preferably scalable AWS technologies. You will work with product managers, SDE 3s, and Principal engineers in designing, coding, and delivering the solution. You will create innovative strategies to ensure the smooth running of your product, prioritizing software improvements that reduce bugs and enhance resiliency.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
