The Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI) will serve as a business-focused analytics partner embedded within the Operations team. This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights and decision-support tools across commodities and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, curiosity, and storytelling skillsleveraging Power BI as a tool to drive strategic outcomes, not just technical outputs. Adept at transforming complex data sets into actionable insights using Power BI, DAX, and SQL. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. Key Responsibilities Business Engagement & Insight Generation Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making. Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and visual narratives. Proactively propose new dashboards or insights that could increase visibility and provide value to stakeholders Collaborate with Data Strategy & Governance Collaborate with IT to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility. Review and improve data collection processes to enhance reliability and efficiency. Design and maintain efficient, lightweight dashboards and reports. Implement row-level security, dataflows, and scheduled refreshes. Integrate Power BI with iRely CTRM and other enterprise systems. Support ad hoc analytics requests from senior leadership. Troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions. Contribute to the development of a group-wide Power BI strategy. Build and maintain clear, well-structured data models and pipelines that keep reports accurate and up to date. Set up and oversee Power BI governance - app audience management, RLS, deployment routines, refresh strategies. Create complex DAX measures to support advanced analytics and KPIs. Integrated data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms. Candidate Profile Bachelor of Science in Information Systems / Data Analytics / Business Intelligence Strong business orientation with proven ability to derive insights from complex data. 5+ years in analytics roles with demonstrable Power BI expertise. Experience in commodities is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, curious, and capable of working independently across time zones. Seniority level
