A law firm seeks a transactional/regulatory attorney with substantial expertise in the 1940 Act, including the Investment Advisory Act and the Investor Company Act, for its Boston office. This role offers the flexibility of remote work depending on jurisdiction and is ideal for a partner/counsel level candidate looking to supplement their book of business or someone interested in a part-time opportunity.
Duties
Advise clients on matters related to the 1940 Act, IAA, and ICA. Engage in market regulation practice within the firm. Collaborate with a nationally recognized corporate practice team. Requirements
Substantial expertise in the 1940 Act, IAA, and ICA. Experience with the SEC or in a law firm setting preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications
Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction. Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in legal research and writing.
