Well known for long-standing vendor relationships and branded offerings provide a good, better, best solution in all product categories we serve Position Overview: A leading wholesale distributor of industrial supplies, safety equipment, welding products, tools, and MRO solutions is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to manage and grow business within a New England territory, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. This is an outside sales role focused on strengthening distributor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage and expand sales with existing distributor partners in the assigned territory. Identify, develop, and onboard new distributor relationships to increase market share. Conduct regular meetings with distributor partners to understand business needs and deliver product solutions. Provide product education, pricing updates, promotional details, and program information to distributor partners. Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, inside sales, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and account success. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the territory with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to inform business decisions. Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and distributor-sponsored activities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and account progress using CRM tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered. Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution, safety, MRO, or related sectors. Demonstrated success in territory management, business development, and distributor relationship management. Strong consultative selling skills and ability to deliver value-driven solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
