As a QA professional at Pantomath, you will validate the platform's ability to provide real-time, accurate, and actionable insights into data flow across complex ecosystems. Youll work at the intersection of backend automation, data tools, and testing strategyvalidating data lineage, API reliability, system integrations, and resilience at scale. What Youll Do
Integration Testing
Design and execute comprehensive test cases for data-centric tools and platforms Validate integrations with systems like Snowflake, Tableau, Fivetran, and dbt Collaborate with engineering to ensure accuracy of lineage metadata and observability insights Automation & Regression
Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for backend services and RESTful APIs Automate testing for microservices, metadata flows, and system interactions Ensure high test coverage for critical workflows and data scenarios Performance & Resilience
Test system performance under real-world loads from multiple metadata sources Validate platform scalability and responsiveness across data volumes Ensure robust error handling, resilience, and helpful debugging logs Mentorship & Leadership
Mentor and support junior engineersreview code, pair program, and offer feedback Collaborate with full stack and QA teams to improve test strategies and coding practices Lead by example with clean code, documentation, and proactive problem-solving Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with developers, product managers, and data engineers to define quality outcomes Provide data-driven insights to improve platform reliability and performance What You Bring
Technical Skills, Tools, & Experience
8+ years in QA automation for complex SaaS systems Strong experience with SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and automation libraries API testing proficiency using Postman or similar tools Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Snowflake, Tableau, Fivetran, dbt Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React.js, Next.js, Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (ExpressJS, NestJS, KOA) Problem Solving & Debugging
Attention to detail in data lineage and metadata issues Strong debugging skills with a root-cause approach Additional Skills
Understanding of performance testing principles Knowledge of security testing tools and approaches Awareness of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes How We Work
