Key Responsibilities: Employ advanced quantitative analysis and data mining techniques to uncover insights about user interactions with our consumer and business products. Identify actionable insights and influence the Security strategy by effectively communicating results to diverse teams, including Security strategy leadership. Utilize data and mathematical principles to analyze user behavior and inform critical business decisions. Predict user patterns through metrics analysis and engage in cross-functional teams to define problems, collect data, build models, and formulate recommendations. Develop mathematical models and conduct data analysis to enhance Meta's operations and decision-making processes. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to solve complex problems and uncover trends and opportunities. Create and analyze dashboards, reports, and key datasets to facilitate operations and exploratory data analysis. Automate analyses and establish data pipelines using SQL and Python within an ETL framework. Forge strategic partnerships with Security strategy leadership by framing strategic questions, defining success metrics, and setting up reporting mechanisms. Assist with hypothesis testing experiments, analyze collected data, and communicate findings effectively. Conduct ad hoc data analyses in response to immediate team needs. Perform root cause analyses of workflows to quantify issues, operationalize goals, and establish priorities. Address overarching questions by conceptualizing analytical plans, executing strategies, and presenting to stakeholders. Manage and drive projects to fruition within a dynamic cross-functional environment. Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field. Five years of experience in a data analysis or related role. Proficiency in solving analytical problems and constructing models using quantitative and machine learning methods. Experience with data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and presentation for medium to large datasets. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, Java, or C++. Experience writing SQL queries. Familiarity with scientific computing and analysis packages like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, or Scikit-learn. Knowledge of statistical methods including forecasting, time series analysis, hypothesis testing, clustering, and regression. Experience using data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib or ggplot2. Background in distributed computing tools like Hadoop, Hive, or Spark. Applied statistics or experimentation knowledge, including A/B testing. Compensation:
