Security Experts is a growing provider of secure workforce and technology solutions across the U.S. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HRIS Data Analyst to join our HR technology team. This position will focus on managing, analyzing, and optimizing data within our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), supporting HR operations and business decision-making through data-driven insights. Position Summary:
The HRIS Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, producing reports, supporting system upgrades, and helping the HR team leverage the HRIS platform for more effective workforce management. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, experienced with HRIS platforms (like Workday, UKG, ADP, or SAP SuccessFactors), and skilled in translating data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, audit, and ensure the accuracy of HRIS data (employee records, compensation, org structure, etc.)
Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for HR leadership and business units
Analyze trends in workforce data to support talent, compensation, and diversity initiatives
Collaborate with IT and HR teams to optimize system configurations and workflows
Provide support for HRIS upgrades, testing, and data migrations
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
Create dashboards and visualizations to improve reporting accessibility
Document data procedures and provide user support and training for HR staff
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
2+ years of experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, Oracle, UKG, SAP)
Strong Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau preferred
Understanding of HR functions including compensation, benefits, and compliance
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
